Our mailing list members are aware of the service we are doing and we are proud to announce that there are 1500+ members who have joined our Darjeeling Newsletter mailing list from different corners of the world. Bearing in mind, the service to the community, a handful of youths volunteered to serve this site and to tell you the truth, most are unemployed. There is no direct source of income for this site except for some few advertisements, cassettes and cd sales, some Darjeeling product sales and web desiging contracts. What our aim concerns is "Bringing Darjeeling to proximity where ever you stand, in any part of the world". Tourists visiting Darjeeling lacks proper information on Darjeeling and that is why we decided to include every possible information on the site - in a way it is aimed at promoting Darjeeling and its hills. As you know that in order to recieve the Darjeeling Newsletters and information updates on our site, we do not charge a penny to anyone, its 100% Free. Since this is a free service and as we have to pay an annual charge to the web hosting company - we would be honoured to receive donations from you.
